The property is also only 650m from the thermal spa, renowned for its hot pools and healing treatments. 

The apartment comprises: - one large double bedroom with built in storage; - a large living room with double sofa bed, dining table and TV/DVD player; - kitchenette equipped with 2 ring hob, microwave/oven and dishwasher; and a shower room and separate toilet. The apartment also benefits from a large, private and lockable, storage area in the basement - perfect for storing skis and bikes (or other outdoor gear!). There is also private parking. The apartment is located on the raised ground floor, with only a few steps up to the front door. 

The Local Area - Bagnères-de-Luchon is a lively spa town in the Pyrénées, and is ideally located for the outdoor enthusiasts amongst you. 

Skiing - The town boasts its own ski resort, Superbagnères, with a gondola to the ski slopes just 500m from the apartment. The ski resort has 28 pistes, of which 6 are black, 7 are red, and 13 are blue. There are several bars and cafes at the resort, with many more back down at village level. Luchon also benefits from close proximity to a number of other ski resorts, including the following: - Perygaudes - Le Mourtis - Baqueiera/Beret - Nistos 

Cycling - Luchon is also an ideal location for cycling, with the Tour de France a regular feature in the summer. The cols surrounding Luchon are popular with amateur and professional cyclists alike, and there are many cycle operators in the area that can provide equipment and guiding. 

Other Outdoor Activities -  In addition to skiing and cycling, paragliding is also very popular. There is a paragliding school located in the centre of town. There are also numerous walking routes around the area, of varying difficulty levels. The scenery is stunning! Spain is only a 20 minute drive from Luchon, so why not hop over the border for a tapas lunch!
